Terms and Conditions

By placing an order for goods on himalayansaltdirect.co.uk, you indicate your “agreement” to our terms and conditions. Ideally, all payments must be made using your own payment method and with sufficient funds to make the payment. Fraudulent use of the payment method will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

himalayansaltdirect.co.uk may immediately suspend or cancel your order or registration if you breach any of these Terms.

Order:

Simply select items and quantities and add them to your shopping cart. Make sure you select the correct item and weight. Once done, you need to select the desired type of transport from several options. You must add at least one address to select it as your billing and shipping address. The billing address must be the address where your bank card/payment method is registered. Please ensure you enter all the correct details for a successful order to avoid further delays, we cannot change the address once it has been dispatched.

Payments:

The fastest and safest way to pay is to pay online via Paypal using your credit/debit card. For a successful order, the payment transaction must be approved by the bank. You will receive a confirmation email from us once you have completed your order and received your payment.

VAT:

Please note that all prices include VAT. However, if you are located in Europe and have a valid VAT business, you must provide us with this information for VAT exemption. In all other cases, you must pay VAT according to UK law.

Processing:

Once we receive clear payment for your order, we will begin processing your order. Orders are processed and shipped the same day (Monday to Friday) if the order is placed by 12:00pm. This does not include the listed holidays/bank holidays. If for any reason any of the items are out of stock, you will be notified by our customer support by phone or email. In this situation, we always await your advice regarding a refund or alternative product selection.

Products:

It is important to know that products may have new packaging and labeling compared to the images on the website, but if the product is the same and only the packaging is new, it will be considered the same product. Any props shown in the product image are not part of the order. All images are for illustration purposes only and may not represent the actual product.

Annulment:

You can cancel the order on the same day until 12:00, otherwise we can ship your order. If you cannot notify us in time and the order has already been shipped, it is your responsibility to accept delivery and return the item to us, refusal is not a valid return.

Delivery:

We use courier services for our deliveries. All shipments will be sent via a trackable service and we will email you a tracking number. All pallet orders (usually over 225kg) will be shipped using one of our pallet net carriers. As cards are not always left, it is your responsibility to follow your online tracking, including but not limited to: reordering delivery, changing delivery, picking up your items from your local delivery warehouse. Failure to do so will result in an automatic return. Refunds will only be made if the item is returned undamaged.

If you dispute a delivery, the courier requires a Disputed Delivery Form to be completed to confirm non-receipt of goods and full cooperation with local authorities. No refund/replacement will be given if you are not satisfied with it.

Once you receive your order please make sure it is not opened or damaged, you agree to report any damage/defects within 2 days so that we can resolve your issue quickly. Delivery times do not include public holidays, weekends or store closures. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for shipments delayed in the postal system due to things such as pandemics, inclement weather and busy holidays as this is beyond our control.

Return:

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to let us know you wish to return your order. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. Returns outside of these dates may not be accepted. Opened food is considered perishable and is not covered by the Consumer Rights Act / Consumer Contracts Regulation. DO NOT initiate a return of any items without notifying us in advance, either by email or via our contact form, otherwise payment may not be refunded. Please ensure you use a tracked service when returning items as we cannot provide a refund/exchange if the item is lost. Please use appropriate packaging when returning the item, damaged items will be disposed of and no refund/exchange will be provided.

Liability/Indemnity:

Return Shipping costs are only returned if the goods are confirmed to be faulty or the wrong goods have been sent. Please allow 1-3 business days from the date we receive the shipment for the item to be inspected and the return to be processed. If replacement stock is not available, your item will be refunded.

Money Back:

In the case of any refund, the amount can only be refunded to the same payment method that was used for the purchase. If you cancel/return within the cancellation period, you will receive a refund within 14 days of receipt of your return or 14 days of proof of dispatch, whichever occurs first. All refunds take 2-3 business days from the date the refund request is submitted. If you have paid for expedited delivery, this will not be refunded.

Discounts / Subscriptions:

We sometimes offer an order discount when you subscribe to our newsletter. In order to receive this discount code you will need to sign up and follow the link in the confirmation email to confirm your subscription and receive your code.

This discount code can only be used once per person/company. The subscription discount cannot be abused, i.e. multiple emails used for the same person/company.

Please note, subscribing and unsubscribing within the same day of placing an order, will result in the order being cancelled and the discount being revoked.
